¦ Keep equ ipm ent aw ay from excessive humid ity and h eat. Pre ferabl y, keep it in an air -conditioned envir on ment with
tem p eratures not exce ed ing 40º Celsius (104 º F ahren heit).
¦ When installing, pla ce the equipment on a sturd y, leve l surface to prevent it from accidentally falling and causin g dam
ag e t o other equipment or injur y to person s nearb y.
¦ When th e e q uipment is in an open position, do not cove r, block o r in any way o bstruct th e gap between it an d the
po wer su p pl y. Proper air convection is necessary to k eep it from overheating .
¦ Arrange the e qu ipm ent ’s pow er cord in such a wa y that othe rs w on’t trip or fa ll o ver it.
¦ If you are using a power cord that d idn’t ship w ith the equipment, en sure that it is rate d for the voltage an d cur rent
labeled on th e equipme nt ’s electric al ratings label. T he vo ltage rating on the co rd should be higher than th e on e listed
on the e qu ipment ’s ratings lab e l.
¦ Ob serv e all precaut ions and w arnings atta ched to the e q uipment.
¦ If you don’t intend on using the e quipme nt for a long time, disconn ect it from the power outlet to pre vent being dam
ag ed by tr ansient over -voltag e.
¦ Keep all liquids away fr om th e equipm en t to minim ize the risk of accidental spillage. Liquid spilled on to th e pow er
supply o r o n other hardwa re may cau se damag e, fire or electrical shock.
¦ On ly q ua lified service p ersonnel should op en the cha ssis. O pe ning it yourself could damage the eq uipm ent and invali
da te its warrant y.
¦ If a ny part of the equipme nt becomes damaged or stops f unctio ning, have it c hecked by q ualified service personnel.
